Today is my mother's 55th birthday. I dedicate this day of thankfulness to her. She wasn't a perfect mother and our relationship wasn't the best, but I wouldn't be the woman I am today if it wasn't for her. I am thankful for her strong will and for being such a hard working woman to provide for my sisters and I.
